It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Sylvanius Wray of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lewis and Inez Lewis; his wife Sharon Wray; his siblings, Joe Wray, Ronald "Ronnie" Wray and Jeanett Wray; and his son-in-law Brad Pack.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shayne M. Wray (Kirby) of High Point and Amber L. Pack of Leeland; his sister Freda King (Curtis) of High Point; and his grandchildren, Ryan Nifong (Mariah) of Fayetteville, Forrest Nifong (Ellen) of Midway, Belle Allred (Jerry) of Midway, Tabitha Smith (Eric Alderman) of Winston-Salem, Wesley Smith of Kernersville, Christy Robinson (Timothy) of Thomasville and Tyler Morrison. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prospect Methodist Church (5553 Prospect St, High Point, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
