He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lewis and Inez Lewis; his wife Sharon Wray; his siblings, Joe Wray, Ronald "Ronnie" Wray and Jeanett Wray; and his son-in-law Brad Pack.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shayne M. Wray (Kirby) of High Point and Amber L. Pack of Leeland; his sister Freda King (Curtis) of High Point; and his grandchildren, Ryan Nifong (Mariah) of Fayetteville, Forrest Nifong (Ellen) of Midway, Belle Allred (Jerry) of Midway, Tabitha Smith (Eric Alderman) of Winston-Salem, Wesley Smith of Kernersville, Christy Robinson (Timothy) of Thomasville and Tyler Morrison. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
