It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Grimes Ashmore of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Luther Grimes and Jessie Lee McNeill Grimes; her son James Dennis Ashmore; and her husband Harry Ashmore. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Ashmore of Thomasville and Jeffrey Ashmore of Cary; her brother Neal Grimes (Laura) of Thomasville; and her grandchildren, Joshua Ashmore (Kate) of New Bern and Jayden Ashmore of Cary. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
