She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guy Arthur Shauger and Edna Anna Louise Shauger; her husband Walter Douglas Vaughan; her siblings, Sharon Sanders (Shauger), John Shauger and Diana Shauger; and her children, Walter Vaughan (Amy), Steven Vaughan (Kimberley), Jennifer Gardner (Casey) and Mark Vaughan (Amber).
