He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Ellis Medlin; and his daughter Janis Atwood. He is survived by: his sons, Danny Medlin (Sara) of Jamestown, NC and Sonny Medlin (Doris) of Loganville, GA; and his grandchildren, Kevin Atwood (Dee), Valerie Atwood, Scott Atwood (Susan), Cindi Marbury (Rob), Jason Medlin (April), Derek Medlin (Breanne), Joshua Medlin and Ben Medlin. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19, no formal visitation or receiving of friends will be held.
