She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vest and Lydia Keene Vest; and her brothers, Jack Vest and Warren Vest. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James M. Ross; her children, Robert Charles Ross (Carla) of Bailey, NC, James Miller Ross, Jr. (Julia) of Hickory and Elisabeth Ross Almekinder (Rolf) of Hampstead, NC.; and her sister Jane Vest Griz Jones of Knoxville.
