He is survived by: his wife Margrette; his children, Thurman Kenan, Jr. and Dr. Yottie M. Kenan-Smalls (Keith); his grandchildren, Christopher Avery Smalls and Zoey Margrette Smalls; and his siblings, Roosvelt Kenion, Horace Kenan (Jacqueline), Mildred Lane and Mary Bryant (Leon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
