It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Hardison of Teachey, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack Matthews and Katie Matthews; her husband Johnny; her children, Donna Hairr (Wesley) and John John (Jenni); her grandchildren, Madison Warren (Keagan), John Wesley Hairr (Mary Margaret), Cole Hardison, Paige Hardison and Dustin Hardison; her great grandchildren, Callan and Kenley Warren; her mother-in-law Centelle Atkinson Hardison; her sisters, Essie Leigh Padgett, Geraldine Dixon and Faye Carter; and her sister-in-law Dianne Hardison. She was also cherished by niece and nephew.
Due to Covid-related circumstances, our family has made the difficult decision to have a small, family celebration of Catherine's life.
