She was predeceased by: her parents, Algie Matthews and Lillie Williams Matthews of Bladen County, NC.; her siblings, Dorothy Moore, William Matthews, Waylon Matthews, Susan Scronce, Sarah Fahrney, Maomi Jones and Robert Matthews; and her son-in-law Harrell Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie W Wood, Jr.; her daughters, Sharon W. Hall of Wallace and Susan Allen (George) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Jennifer Norris (Greg), Kristie Walker Ely (John Paul), Jason Allen and Kelly Minor (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Gunnar and Gage Norris; and her sister Reba Tiller (NC) of Merritt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
