He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cleveland and Fannie Register Savage; and his wife Evelyn Lela Fussell Savage. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tonya Guyton, Kim Bauguess, Lee Jackson, Zachary Savage and Lindsey Savage; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Madison, Alison, Emily, Henry, Eleanor and Mary Blakeley.

Family asks that memorial contributions be considered to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare of Wilmington or Corinth Baptist Church of Rose Hill.
