She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin and Ruby Marie Knowles; and her children, Crystal Gayle and David Ryan. She is survived by: her husband David Jackson; her siblings, Linda Smith (Drake) and David Knowles (Glenda); her foster sisters, Trudy Hatcher and Delania Lefevre (Jim); and also Fran. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
