He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Stampe and Helen Christensen Stampe; his parents-in-law, Joe and Alma Casad; his sister Sandra Heoppner; his sister-in-law Nancy Blanche; his daughter-in-law Melinda Stampe; his brother-in-law Alfred Casad; and his nephews, Matt Blanche and Doug Casad.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stampe; his sons, Mark (Michelle) of Teachey and Chris (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jackson, Taylor and Kylie; his sister Jane (Susan Cremer); his stepgrandchildren, JoAnnah Escobar (Gil) and Marshall Matthews (Allena); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Annabel, Ryan and Lucas; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Casad (Linda), Jim Blanche (Anna) and Dave Hoeppner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
