It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Pierce Cook of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, West Virginia, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darl Cook Sr. and Beulah Payatt Cook; and his wife Bonnie Lou Bonds Cook. He is survived by: his children, Philip Cook of Taylorsville, Ivan Murdock of Taylorsville and Marquietta Garcia (Felipe) of Taylorsville. He is also survived by three brothers, six sisters, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
