With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Phillip Mayberry of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zachariah Mayberry and Hessie Barnes Mayberry; and his sister Nellie Mayberry of Maryland. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mayberry and Mark Mayberry (Pam) of Lenoir; his siblings, Leo Mayberry (Mary Alice) of Taylorsville, Luke Mayberry (Pat) of Ohio, George Mayberry (Louise) of Ohio, Peggy Gant (Harry) of Taylorsville and Sylvia Sigmon of Taylorsville; and his grandchildren, Dylan Mayberry, Payton Lee, Andy and Brennan Mayberry. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
