He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wilson and Beatrice Eda Pennell Hatton; his siblings, Edna, Tommy and Larry Jimmy Hatton; his nephew James Hatton; and his niece Tammy Dawn Hatton.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol Walker Hatton.
