She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Pope and Ida Mae Barlowe Pope; and her husband Lawrence Monroe Starr, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, J. R. Starr (Linda) of Taylorsville, Jerry Starr (Erica) of Lincolnton, Floyd Glenn Starr (Bertie) of Burnsville, Jimmy Starr of Hickory, Kathy Pearson (Tim) of Conover, Norma Mathis of Taylorsville and Numerous.
