He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kindola Dagenhart Ford and Marville Dagenhart; his wife Linda Pennell Dagenhart; his children, Dara Swift (Barry) of Claremont, Curt Dagenhart of Taylorsville and Lisa Pennell Pruitt of Lenior; his brother Rick Dagenhart (Linda) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Lindy Swift, Kimberlyn Swift, Regan Dagenhart, Colby Dagenhart, Amy Miller and Connor Pruitt; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Miller and Kaitlin Miller; and his nephews, Kevin and David Dagenhart (Judy Henderson) of Stony Point.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Carolina Caring of Catawba or Friendship Lutheran Church.
