He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Parson and Epsie Rowe Parson; and his sister Beulah Parson of Taylorsville. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn King Parson; his sons, Tommy Wesley Parson (Paulette) of Hickory and Ashley L. Parson (Shanay) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Deion Wall, Aveion Parson and Altarique "Nas" Parson; his stepgrandchild Markcavious Parson; his great grandchild Ayden; and his close friends, Jack Parson, Hugh Rowe and Rev. Sterling Howard.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (224 Quail Hollow Ln, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
