He is survived by: his father Timothy Wade Sweet of Hiddenite; his stepmother Cindy Sweet of Hiddenite; his son Mark Crane of Hiddenite; his half-siblings, Terry L. Sweet of Hiddenite, Jessica R. Sweet Snyder (D. J.) of Lenoir and Tamara M. Sweet of Statesville; and his aunt Linda Crane Sweet.
