It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Lee Pennell of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Columbus Pennell and Wilma Meadlock Pennell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Pennell; his children, James Earl Pennell (Susan) of Taylorsville, William Ray Pennell (Beth) of Taylorsville, Michael Lee Pennell (Sheila) of Taylorsville and Shelly Morris (John) of Long Island; and his sister Glenda Drum of Taylorsville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church in Taylorsville.
