He was predeceased by: his mother Dessie Roberts; his brother Jerry Roberts; his brothers-in-law, Zeno Pearson and Michael Ganzman; and his father-in-law Bill Forestieri.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ganzman Roberts; his sister Geraldine Pearson of Taylorsville; his niece Diana Ewart; his nephew Audie Lee Pearson; his mother-in-law Frieda Forestieri; and his close friends, Randy Loudermelk and Steve. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews, one great-great nephew, and several cousins.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Hospice of Alexander County, 50 Lucy Echerd Lane, Taylorsville, NC, 28681.
