She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merl Vance Rufty and Ruth Wike Rufty; her brother Alan Rufty of Taylorsville; and her nieces, Cindy Rufty Timmons (James) of Burlington and Angie Rufty of Charlotte.
