It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Bumgarner (Taylorsville, North Carolina), born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Smith Ray Loudermelk and Lela Daniels Loudermelk; her husband Charles L. Bumgarner; and her grandson Kota B. Bumgarner. She is survived by: her sons, James Bumgarner (Donna) of Taylorsville and Kim Bumgarner of Taylorsville; and her grandchildren, Darin "Tiger" Bumgarner (Brianna) and Ryker Bumgarner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
