It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Brown of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Harrington and Mammie Kerley Harrington; her husband Grady Brown; her siblings, Irene Jones, Ernesteen "Teen" Mitchell, Mildred "Bunny" Harrington, Mary Milstead, Crafton Harrington, JB Harrington, William Harrington and Harvey Harrington; her granddaughter Misty Brown; and her sister Jeannie Cropley of Georgia.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Brown (Jackie) of Claremont and Suzan Wike (Steve) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Kristin Briggs (Dan), Corey Brown (Ariel), Aaron Wike (Kayla), Meagan Rushing (Brandon) and Brian Pennell; and her great grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Audrey Briggs, Hannah, Jonah Millsaps, Levi, Zander Wike, Nora, Ellie Rushing and Caden Pennell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
