Sharon Brigman Smolko Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Brigman Smolko (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 31, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Brigman and Arlene Webb Brigman; and her brother Ernest Webb Brigman. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Smolko; her daughters, Karen Carpenter (Allen) and Deborah Spencer (Edward); her siblings, Mary Vandegrift, Peggy Whitonis (Joe), James Brigman (Gaye) and Bruce Brigman (Melinda); her grandchildren, Thomas Spencer (Cara), Heather Koblanski (Darci), Brent Spencer (Samantha), Erik Spencer (Rhiannon) and Stephen Smolko II (Kat); and her great grandchildren, Cole, Madison, Everleigh, Connor, Rowynn, Lydia and Stevie.
