She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Barnes and Kitty Sue Bumgarner Barnes; and her brothers, Curtis Barnes and Barry Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Danny Pressley; her children, Kendra Pressley (Mark Leininger) of Jacksonville, FL, Mark Pressley (Chrissy) of Hiddenite and Curt Pressley of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Maegan Pressley of Taylorsville, Koda Pressley of Taylorsville, Lydia Pressley of Taylorsville, Hunter Campbell of Taylorsville, Ryan Leininger (Tim Korey) of St. Petersburg, FL, Cole Leininger (Cameron) of Pleasant Hill, CA and Laken Powe of Hickory; her siblings, James Barnes (Linda) of Taylorsville and Bonita Powe (Reggie) of Taylorsville; and her nieces and nephews, Gayle Carroll of Hopewell, VA, AnaBeth Powe of Hickory, Barry Barnes of Elkin and Bryan Powe (Marquita) of Hickory.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the East Taylorsville Baptist Church (644 1st St NW, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
