It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Mae Ham Leonard (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Rome Lee; her husband Daniel Leonard Jr.; her son Robert Lee Matheson; her stepsons, Michael Leonard of Georgia and Terry Leonard of Wilkesboro; and her siblings, Thelma Watts of Winston, Gail Lackey of Statesville, Doris Sigmon of Stony Point, Fred Ham of Statesville, Bill Ham of Hiddenite, Jesse Ham of Winston and Donald Ham of Mocksville.
She is survived by: her children, Junior Matheson (Deborah) and Lori Matheson George (Rickey); and her siblings, Margie Childers of Lenoir and Ronnie Ham of Stony Point.
