He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Ruth Dillard; and his brother Jeffrey Allen Dillard. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shumate Dillard; his daughter Heather Dawn Dillard Donahue; and his siblings, Dennis Wayne Dillard and Robin Vickie Dillard. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
