It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Bowman of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lee Hefner and Hannah Icenhour Hefner; her husband Wavie Lee Bowman; and her siblings, Viola Pennell, Pelv Hefner, Cozby Starnes, Keefe Hefner, Dorothy Cockerham, Snookie Loudermilk and Mack Hefner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Kerley (Myron) of Taylorsville and Becky Isenhour (Bobby) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Brian Kerley (Charley), Heath Pennell (Kristen) and Lauren Sharpe (Andrew); her stepgranddaughter Lisa Moore (Glenn) of Jeffrey Kerley, B. J; her great grandchildren, Ayden Kerley, Ensley Kerley, Dawson Kerley and Annaleigh Sharpe; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zachary Ferguson, Caiden Isenhour and Olivia Isenhour; and her siblings, Jane Sipe and Geleda Murdock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
