It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Theodore Jansen (Taylorsville, North Carolina), born in Sussex, New Jersey, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peter and Christine Anderson Jansen; and his close friend Carrie Jansen. He is survived by: his sons, Dale (Sandra) of Tucson, Gary (Marti) of Greeneville, Larry (Christine) of Cohasset, Eric (Sue) of Effort and Tass (Angie) of Hiddenite; his brother Peter (Lucille) of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Alexis O'Donnell (Mo), Maren Jansen, Vanessa Moose (Martin), Miranda Wiles (Jared), Brian Jansen and Vann Jansen; and his great grandchild Silas Moose.
