He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McCree Bowman and Cordelia Duncan Bowman; his son Travis Bowman; and his siblings, Carroll Bowman and Lillie Jo Elder.
He is survived by: his wife Laverne Garner Bowman; his children, Stacy Bowman, Brett Bowman (Season) and Holly Bowman Morrow (Jason); his siblings, Charles Bowman (Carolyn), Leon Bowman (Joanne), Phyllis Little (Harvey) and Frances Sigmon; his grandchildren, Seth Morrow, Tanner Allen, Collin and Willow Collman; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Jolly and Audene Chapman (Tommy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
