He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin D. Hammer and Dorothy Taylor Hammer; his godfather Lee McCoy; and his pet Tory. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hammer; his sons, Zachary Hammer and Charles Hammer; his sister Tina Hartwell (Rich); and his pet Lizzy.
