Helms of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Wayne, Michigan, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Helms and Doris Townsend Helms; his close friend Peggy Carter; and his brother Robert Helms. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Heather Kramer (Paul) and Matt Helms (Julie) of Livonia, Michigan; his grandchildren, Peter Helms, Scott Helms (Sarah), Matthew Helms, Nicholas Helms, David Helms and Alison Helms; and his great grandchild Lily Helms.
