He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Allen Gordon, Sr. and Robertta Dunbar Gordon; his pets, Bartholomew and Boomer; his wife Misty McAlpin Gordon; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Dyson (Shane) and Cody Dyson; his grandson Christopher Hunt; his sister Jacquline Hadda of Ohio; his brother-in-law Jay Lee McAlpin of Taylorsville; and his friends, Robert Miller and Robert Mitchell.
