She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Augustus and Mary Braswell; and her husband Benny Steve Childers. She is survived by: her children, Lecticia Starnes (Sonny), Shannon Childers (Brandy) of Taylorsville, Dena Collie of Wilmington and Leja Clyburn of Australia; her grandchildren, Trae, Michael, Gabriel, Jonah, Karlee, Elisha, Emma, Lilly, Kadee, Gideon, Ezra, Obi, Ben, Anna, Bret, Liza and Finn; and her siblings, Bucky Braswell (Polly), Roger Braswell (Beth), Doris Duncan (Charles), Wanda Wike, Debra Burns (Terry), Renee Sigmon and Sandra Denny (Scott).
