He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Harrison Scott and Eula Mae Connolly Scott; and his sister Elizabeth Ann Scott Fox. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Rogers Scott; his sons, Andrew Scott and Tyler Scott; and his sister Sandra Gayle Beam.
