It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randall Ray Rector of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ray Rector and Blanche Williams Stewart; his siblings, Grady Rector and Nancy Posey; and his daughter-in-law Laura Houchins Rector.

He is survived by: his wife Fannie Cooper Rector; his sons, Dennis D. Rector and Rick R. Rector (Melissa); his grandchildren, Wendy R. Gibson (Alvin), Elizabeth C. Rector, Lillin H. Rector and Destiny C. Rector; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Gibson, Gabi Gibson, Gaia Gibson and Garyn Gibson.
