He is survived by: his wife Marquita Harrison Pope; his children, Tamara Pope of Conover, Ashley Pope (Justice) of Hickory and Christopher Pope (Sherri) of Hickory; the mother of his children Nora Weaver; his son Phillip Carnithan; his stepsons, Shea Gilbert of Granite Falls and Logan Miller (Hannah); his siblings, Betty Nivens of Hickory, Lisa Stewart of Rhodhiss, Randy Pope (Rooney) of Hickory and Timothy Pope (Bridgett) of Yadkinville; his siblings-in-law, Treva Pope of Taylorsville and Michael Harrison (Ginny) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Jordan Pope, Logan Pope, Madalyn Gilbert, Parker Carnithan and Quentin Weaver; his brother Michael Pope; his brothers-in-law, Johnny Henderson and Robert Stewart; his grandson Tyler Pope; and his nephew Carl Nivens. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
