He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hartis and Bobbye Hartis. He is survived by: his wife Sallie Hartis; his children, Josh Hartis (Farrah) and Kristen Jolly (Adam); his grandchildren, Teryn, Cade Hartis, Garrett and Alyssa Jolly; his uncle Phil Lackey (Ruth); and his aunt Sandi Cook (Ed). He is also survived by numerous other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Central Alexander Fire Department, PO Box 878, Taylorsville, NC 28681 in memory of Phil.
