He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Dortzbach and Solveig Eugenie Dortzbach; his former wife Alice Dortzbach; and his stepdaughter Annette Byers. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Milan Byers; his son Travis Dortzbach (Deborah) of West Virginia; his stepdaughter Amanda Lowe (Dale) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Michael, Kristen, Lexus and Branson; his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Cheyeene, Braidan and Silas; and his close friends, Tim and Joyce Burke.
