With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Cecil Goble (Taylorsville, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Franklin Goble and Cennie Louise Martin Goble; his siblings, Melvin Goble and Linda Duncan; his brother-in-law David; and his grandparents, James Franklin, Bessie Barlett Goble, Robert Glenn and Ellen Goodman Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carol Moretz Goble; his children, Christy Goble Jackson (Cecil) of Wellington, FL, Heath Goble (Jody Walker) of Newton, NC and Keith Goble (Janie) of Hickory, NC.; his siblings, Kenneth "Bud" Goble (Linda), Jimmy Goble, Teddie Goble (Wanda) and Donna Gantt (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Macie Lail Manning (Hunter) of Charlotte, NC, Brandon Goble (Katie) of Marshville, NC, Sophie Goble of Taylorsville, NC, Dawson Goble of Hickory, NC, Dylan Ball of Hickory, NC, Austyn Kelley of Hickory, NC, Adam Jackson, Cecilia Jackson, Jonah Jackson, Zachary Jackson of Boone, NC and Tinker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Service (193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel (193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disaster Relief Fund in care of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6175 St. Peters Church Road, Conover, NC 28613.
