She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Trout and Alice Irene McCoy Trout; her husband Leonard Earl Barnett Sr.; and her aunt Juanita Poteet. She is survived by: her children, Leonard Barnett Jr. (Gloria) of Jamestown, TN, Karen Barnett of Fall Branch, TN, Gregory Barnett (Tammy) of Mt. Airy, NC and Sharon Barnett of Taylorsville, NC; her grandchildren, Lee, Melissa, Beverly, Emily, Mallory and Eric; and her cousin Delores Greene of Hendersonville, NC.. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
