He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Bowman and Lucille Austin Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hefner Bowman; his son Scott Bowman (Melissa); his siblings, Sue Ellis (Charles), Kay Houston (Ned), Carolyn Orren and David Bowman (Sarah); his grandchildren, Katie Bowman, Jake Bowman (Kendra) and Mollie Bowman; and his great grandchild Brooks Bowman. He is also survived by brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
