He is survived by: his wife Linda Ricker Watson; his sons, James Watson, Eddie Watson of Surry County and Stacey Watson; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor and Aaron; his half-sister Bobbie Sanders of Lenoir; and his stepsiblings, Shelia Shook of Taylorsville and Jerry Clontz of Lenoir. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
