With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Richards of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in South Paris, Maine, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Starbird and Myrtis M. Wood Starbird; and her siblings, Raymond Starbird (Pat), Gilbert Starbird and Louise Hunter.
She is survived by: her husband Emery Richards; her children, Scott Richards, Pamela Metzger (Michael) and Lora Lockett (Robert, Sr.); her grandchildren, Troi Richards (Shawna), Nicole Richards and Natalie Metzger; her great grandchild Jaidyn Gunther; and her sisters, Marjorie Knightly (Ronello) and Eleanor Jones (Earl).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
