He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tommy Mecimore and Irene Tedder Mecimore; his wife Dianne St. Clair Mecimore; his sons, Michael Chad Mecimore (Cathy) of Oak Island, NC and Jason Lee Mecimore (Misty) of Taylorsville; his stepson Josh Bowman of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Olivia Mecimore, Alexis Mecimore, Adam Mecimore, Kara Mecimore, McKayla Mecimore, Ella Mecimore and Uri Mecimore; his siblings, Barbara Mecimore of Hiddenite and David Mecimore (Pam) of Taylorsville; his aunt Madeline Fox of Hiddenite; and his mother-in-law Florence St. Clair.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Three Forks Baptist Church (4685 Three Forks Baptist Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons Fund to Three Forks Baptist Church for Western North Carolina.
