He is survived by: his mother Nancy Foy Whitman of Bethlehem; his children, Joseph Daniels (Brandie), Weston Daniels (Emily Cline) and Trista Daniels (Patrick Starnes) of Taylorsville; his stepbrother Tommy Whitman (Rose) of Statesville; his sisters, Tammy Smith (Dean) of Taylorsville, Michelle Daniels (Danny Cooper) of Tennessee and Dana Chatham (Trent) of Bethlehem; his stepsister Mary Stanley of Texas; his grandchildren, Jonah Daniels, Jaxon Daniels, Jase Daniels and Layne Daniels; and his close friends, Stewart Marlowe and Derrick Byerley.
