He is survived by: his children, Angela and Melvin Parsons (Spunk); his siblings, Nancy, Mary Lynn (Tommy), Joseph (Olga), Virgil (Cynthia), David (Lossie), William (Janice) and Johnny King; and his sisters-in-law, Beulah, Shelia and Verna. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
