She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Ellis and Maude Webster Ellis Elder; her husband Grady W. Reid; her sons, Joe Pennell (Hester) and James Pennell; her grandchildren, Paula Sherrill and Sammy Russ; and her children-in-law, Terry Foster and Bobbi Pennell.
She is survived by: her children, Mae Foster of Taylorsville, Rhonda Sherrill (Harvey) of Taylorsville, Tammy Fortner (Tommy) of Taylorsville, Jerry Pennell and Eddie Pennell; her grandchildren, Stacy, James, Brian, Jessica, Nikki, Debbie, Chris, David, Jeremy, Kristen and Nathan; and her close friend Mary Ann.
