It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable McClain of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lackey and Thelma Flowers Lackey; and her siblings, Shirley Lackey, Barbara Millsaps, Atwell Lackey and William Lackey.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie McClain; her daughters, Theresa "Nikki" McClain of Taylorsville, Latosha "Tosha" Garvin (David) of Charlotte and Talisha "Tete" Blount of Charlotte; her grandchild Dawson Banx Garvin; her sisters, Rev. Mary Antone of Conover, Rev. Tracy Daniels of Taylorsville and Rhonda Flowers of Taylorsville; and her nieces and nephews, Taryn Miller, Isaiah Daniels (Willow), Gabriel Miller and Jeremiah Antone.
