He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Hoover of Spruce Pine and Tiffany Locke Vanderwerff (Michael) of Kernersville; his stepfather Michael; his brother Alek Ayer; his daughter Braelyn of Liberty, NC; his grandparents, Steve, Becky Hoover of Taylorsville, Mike and Linda Mundy of Taylorsville; and his aunts and uncles, Regina Staph of Taylorsville, Amanda Hoover of Taylorsville, Mark Hoover of Hickory, Guy Mundy of Taylorsville and Kevin Mundy of Taylorsville. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
